Discovering Mastery Over Life: A Divine Calling

In the grand design of the universe, God is the creator of all things, orchestrating their movement with divine providence and order. Within this vast cosmos, there exist fundamental laws of nature. God reigns as the supreme ruler, governing both the universe and its intricate laws. His wisdom and omnipotent power extend to the control of all things, shaping the very fabric of existence.

God, however, did not compel us to follow His desires. As many who have attended church are aware, God granted humanity the gift of free will. We, as humans created in the image of the Creator, possess the remarkable capacity to shape our own lives through the choices we make. The One who fashioned us has bestowed upon us the precious gifts of freedom and decision-making.

With these, we can select how we relate to God, our fellow humans, ourselves, and even our surroundings, encompassing our thoughts, emotions, and actions. Furthermore, He has granted us the power to reshape our lives through our choices and actions. He has permitted us to yield the fruits of our convictions and endeavors.

God desires that we tread the path of blessings He has laid out, employing our free will and choices judiciously. His desire is for us to opt for what is virtuous and commendable, leading to a life that is replete with abundance and beauty in every facet. Moreover, He lends His assistance to those who share a similar aspiration, aiding them in realizing their dreams.

Our Heavenly Father possesses the power to elevate each of us into glorious and virtuous beings. This is why we have the capacity to live with a mindset rooted in blessings rather than one driven by comparisons, victimhood, defeat, relative deprivation, competition, or survival of the fittest. In essence, we can cultivate relationships in which we wholeheartedly support one another’s growth, success, and happiness, rejoicing together in harmony.

The Consequences of Embracing a Victim Mentality

While it’s evident that structural injustices exist within every society, with individuals who inadvertently harm and oppress others, it remains crucial to refrain from casting blame solely on external factors or other people. Instead, we should adopt a mindset centered on personal responsibility for our lives. This shift is essential, as assigning blame hinders our understanding of the profound purpose for which God created us.

The act of assigning blame to circumstances can obscure our innate strength to surmount any challenge. It leads to the oversight of our potential to influence and transform the communities we inhabit. Ultimately, this outlook results in lethargy, ineffectiveness, and pessimism, all of which manifest in the outcomes we yield in our lives.

Conversely, when you assume control over your life, you break the habit of undervaluing your capabilities. You begin to harness the talents and resources bestowed upon you by God, thus reaching your maximum potential. Past hardships are reevaluated as moments of blessing, contributing positively to your present and future.

We won’t be disheartened by the challenges and adversities that come our way. Instead, we’ll confront them head-on, propelled by the hope, courage, and wisdom bestowed upon us by God. We’ll nurture the belief that we can triumph over setbacks and propel ourselves forward, fostering unwavering confidence.

Our self-worth and self-esteem soar, propelling our dreams and visions to fruition. We’ll actively pursue strategies to fulfill the mission God has entrusted to us. We’ll experiment with these approaches, identifying the one that aligns best with our unique path and evolving along the way. Through our thoughts, words, actions, and endeavors, we radiate positive energy, and in due course, our beliefs manifest as tangible successes in our lives.

Even now, I abide by the benevolent guidance of our Heavenly Father, relishing the privilege of exercising the freedom of choice He has bestowed upon us. I am in constant training, honing my ability to shoulder the responsibility for the life I have embraced. This is a process of placing our faith in the guiding truth that establish secure boundaries for us and then autonomously, yet responsibly, applying these truth to our lives. It mirrors God’s intention for us to take charge of our lives and bear an abundant harvest of holiness and beauty.

Regardless of the circumstances, the choice to transform our lives from a state of victimhood to one of victory ultimately rests with us. Even in the face of harrowing events like the Holocaust or situations beyond our control, we can still safeguard the human dignity and nobility bestowed upon us by God. It’s comforting to know that God is fully aware of our limitations and empathizes with our struggles. Nevertheless, the question that lingers is this: “Have we anchored our hope in God, drawing strength from Him, and consistently made choices and decisions that align with His divine will, all while striving to live our lives to the fullest extent of our God-given potential?”

Therefore, it becomes imperative for us to take responsibility for every facet of our lives: our thoughts, emotions, words, deeds, relationships, as well as our failures and triumphs. So, I implore you to reflect upon what you are determined to be accountable for at this moment. What are the precise methods through which you plan to manifest this responsibility in your life? On which day, at what time, in what location, and with whom (or perhaps in solitude) will you embark on this journey of responsibility?
