Miracles Born from Small Wins and Steady Effort
Experiencing consistent growth has filled my heart and mind with hope and positivity. My life has been enriched with countless blessed events and relationships. It felt like a missed opportunity to enjoy these blessings all on my own. I recalled those times when I was lost, not knowing how to change my desperate circumstances. Seeing that many people might be facing situations similar to what I experienced, I felt a strong desire to lend a helping hand. This is why I became a blogger, discussing topics related to biblical self-development.
I’ve chosen to target my blog toward Christians for a specific reason. In our world, there’s an abundance of self-help resources, authored by highly successful individuals, who have achieved far more than I have. However, the challenge lies in the fact that their guidance often closely mirrors the teachings of the Bible in numerous aspects. This makes it difficult to distinguish the differences.
If one absorbs their advice without careful discernment, it can inadvertently lead faithful individuals, sincerely seeking growth and development through self-improvement, towards religious pluralism. This is why I felt compelled to aid Christians in pursuing self-improvement that seamlessly aligns with the unwavering truths found in God’s Word.
In the beginning, I had hoped that experienced Christian experts would take on this endeavor. However, I thought that perhaps my knowledge and experiences of emerging from that dark cave might carry even more conviction. Two years have now passed, and I’ve delivered 110 articles to my email subscribers.
Becoming a blogger who assists those interested in self-improvement feels like nothing short of a miracle for me. This is because I used to grapple with low self-esteem, once sowing discord within my family out of fear for what seemed like a grim future. I was someone who inadvertently passed on my pain and wounds to my children, wrestling with feelings of frustration and self-doubt.
When I read stories of people finding hope through my writing or hearing about hearts growing closer to God, it fills me with happiness and gratitude. It’s a miracle that has emerged from the ongoing practice of recording, taking action, and reflecting in my planner, as well as the accumulation of these small successes.
Fostering Growth in Our Children: The Power of the Miracle Maker Planner
The planner I designed has been instrumental in prioritizing and accomplishing goals in our children’s lives. My daughter used to find school vacations quite dull, with little to do at home. However, with active use of the planner during the extended COVID-19 lockdown, she made the most of her time. Her planner now brims with her dreams, discoveries about adding value to her life, and profound reflections on life itself.
After the lockdown lifted, she returned to school with a newfound burst of energy and enthusiasm. She enthusiastically sought out and embraced every opportunity that came her way, even taking on the challenge of balancing IB classes with daily sports activities. By the time she reached her senior year (12th grade), she had assumed the role of vice president at her school, actively participated in volunteer work at both school and church, and organized special events. To top it all off, she had to write seven college admission applications, complete with essays.
Managing such an extensive workload and study commitments could be daunting at times, but her planner became her sanctuary. After meticulously planning her weeks in her planner, she’d often exclaim, “I was feeling so stressed, but now I feel like I can tackle it. I’ve gained confidence.” She was so thrilled with the Miracle Maker Planner that when it launched on Amazon, she took to Instagram to share how she was utilizing it, titling her post “How I Survive At School.”
The planner has become a powerful tool for nurturing my daughter’s spirit of challenge and passion in her daily life. It has helped her manage her tasks by prioritizing them based on importance, leading her to live a diligent and responsible life within her capabilities. Moreover, when faced with unpleasant situations either at school or home, she found solace in confiding her emotions within the planner.
Initially, my eldest child declined the handmade planner I offered, stating, “I already use a to-do list app on my phone. I don’t need this.” However, after two years of using a paper planner, his perspective shifted. When I asked, “I’ve created a digital planner that you can use on your iPad or tablet. Would you like to give it a try?” He responded, “No, I actually prefer the paper planner now,” and even requested a paper planner for herself.
Our eldest, now a college student, carries the planner I made for him wherever he goes. While he may not remember to jot down every appointment and plan consistently, he has realized that organizing everything in her planner helps her utilize her time more effectively. The Miracle Maker Planner has played a pivotal role in nurturing children’s growth, as it helped them manage tasks, prioritize goals, and find solace in challenging situations. This story highlights the importance of a planner in organizing one’s life effectively and fostering a growth mindset in both children and adults.
Embracing Transformation: A Journey to Becoming a Miracle Maker
Over four years, as I’ve diligently recorded, executed, and reflected on my plans, a profound transformation has occurred within me. I’ve evolved from someone who once believed I lacked determination and follow-through to defining myself as a person who perseveres until the task is done. This journey has cultivated patience, mental resilience, and an unexpected passion for planning, which has allowed me to approach my children with increased confidence, self-esteem, and empathy.
They’ve witnessed my commitment, newfound enthusiasm, and positive changes, inspiring them to take on their own challenges. By mastering the art of keeping the promises I make to myself and putting them into action, my life has witnessed remarkable shifts.
If you find yourself in a situation similar to my former self, I encourage you to hold onto hope and embrace the challenge. You too can savor the taste of this miracle. Don’t ever give up, thinking it’s too late because “my children are already grown.” Your children draw immense inspiration and comfort from observing you regardless of your age or theirs.
There is hope for both you and your children. We’re all Miracle Makers, designed to reflect our Heavenly Father’s image. We have the power to create miracles by healing our past wounds, shedding the identity of defeat, and evolving ourselves to bring positive change to our surroundings and environment. That’s our true essence.
